Sanna Maria Paananen's artworks are subdued oil paintings. Her style is based on the use of a limited palette of two colors and combining figurative painting with more graphic elements. Her themes are generally personal viewpoints on larger themes such as feminism and social interaction.
Paananen also works with collaboration painting. In those pieces both artists work on a shared canvas with their own, highly contrasting styles.
